Get Inspired With The Bon Appétit Youtube Channel

In this week lifestyle article we back with another Youtube Food Channel article. This time with the Bon Appétit Youtube channel.

Bon Appétit, launched his Youtube channel, in 2012, featuring primarily cooking tutorials and behind-the-scenes looks at restaurants. Nowadays, if you take a look at their channel, you will find a lot more content. They now have a bunch of incredibly successfully series such as “It’s Alive” or “Gourmet Makes”.

It’s Alive, was launched in October 2016, featuring Brad Leone. The series began with videos of Brad in the Bon Appétit Test Kitchen demonstrating recipes for foods with microbial food cultures but later moved on to more general recipes as well as outdoor segments at agricultural and food processing sites, including a cocoa farm, a sea salt harvesting facility, and a sausage factory.

The Gourmet Makes series, debuted a year later, in July 2017 featuring Claire Saffitz. In this series, Claire attempts to recreate or elevate popular snack foods such as Skittles, KitKat, and Oreos. Despite being one of the channel’s most recent series, it is currently the most popular with millions of views.

In February of 2019, due to the success of these two series, Bon Appétit launched three new series on a streaming channel which took a more personality-driven approach to their content. These series included Leone™s series “It’s Alive: Going Places”, Saffitz’s series “Bon Appétit’s Baking School”, and “Making Perfect” with  Andy Baraghani, Molly Baz, Brad Leone, Chris Morocco, Carla Lalli Music, and Claire Saffitz.

Bon Appétit History

Bon Appétit brand came up long before Youtube. In fact, the Bon Appétit start as American food and entertaining magazine that was first published by Condé Nast (American mass media company) in 1956. The magazine typically contains recipes, entertaining ideas, wine reviews, and recommendations.

Recently, Bon Appétit has increased its web presence in recent years through the use of social media, publishing recipes on its website and especially in its popular YouTube channel.
