At The Cooking World, we love to celebrate autumn, for us one of the best ways to do it is with a bowl of amazing roasted pumpkin soup. A bowl of this spectacularly delicious soup feels like a cuddle from your granny!
Autumn and comfort food are two inseparable things, making it one of the tastiest times of the year. The pungent smell of cloves, the spicy cinnamon, the roasted chestnuts and a lot more… These types of foods are are the holy grail of comfort food, and this recipe is the perfect example. For this particular soup, we like to roast our pumpkin because that way we will be able to intensify the flavor. Another trick that we like to do is use smoked paprika, just a pinch before serving makes all the difference. It’s like eating the soup besides a fireplace!
Finally, before we start with the recipe, we have a question for you! Should we start with autumn and winter theme recipes? Leave your answer in the comments as well as recipes suggestions that you want to see. And don’t forget to see our other recipes.
