The summer is almost here, so it’s time to start gathering the outdoor cooking equipment. We already have the opportunity to review some of our favorite equipment like the Cook-It-All from Lodge or the Roccbox from Gozney. However, today we bring you something new – the Cuisinart 360 griddle review.
Most outdoor griddles are rectangular, but one of the things you notice about this model is that the cooking surface is round. Thanks to that you will experience 360º of griddle cooking versatility! The biggest selling point of this unit is without any doubt its 22″ (55.8 cm) griddle cooking surface, that gives you a 360º cooking experience. This griddle settles above two independently controlled 30,000 BTU burners, that allow you to have different temperatures. This really comes in handy because it allows you to sear your meat on side while warming some veggies on the other.
Another nice feature is the stainless steel lead that sits nicely atop the cooking surface for that additional heat. A feature like this is important because it can give you a more evenly cooking. Perfect for chicken breast or big pieces of meat.
For us, one of the most important aspects of every kitchen equipment is its usability. In other words, how easy it is to use. The Cuisinart 360 griddle as some really nice features that make your life easy when using it.
The Foldable Prep Table is one of the features that make the cooking process much easier. Located on the left side, it has hooks for your spatulas and tongs and a paper towel holder. Its size is big enough for making last-minute preparations and to hold spices and your cold beverage near you all times.
Completing this griddle center is a 360º grease pan surrounding the cooking surface where food debris, grease, oils can be scraped onto. You can then collect the waste into the grease cup located in the rear of the grill. This makes the cleaning process much easier, concentrating all the dirt in just one place.
Cooking with the Cuisinart 360 griddle is a fun thing to do. You don’t have to worry about flare-ups, so food cooks evenly without charring. This unit is large enough to cook for up to 8-10 people but compact enough for small meals. Its big capacity is perfect for big parties, but its compact circular design makes it suitable for small yards, patios, and decks.
Before jumping straight to the fun part, you first need to season the griddle. Although the process is easy, it does take some time. However, you should definitely not skip it, because it is an essential process that will affect the performance of the unit. See the video below to know how to properly season your griddle.
