To the creation of breathtaking desserts, or even to a wild and thoroughly unexpected take on coffee and doughnuts. The French Laundry Cookbook captures, through recipes, essays, profiles, and extraordinary photography, one of America’s great restaurants.
One of the aspects that we value more in this book is that all the recipes are an exact copy of The French Laundry kitchen. No shortcuts have been taken, no critical steps ignored, all have been thoroughly tested in home kitchens. As a result, if you can’t get to the French Laundry, you can re-create at home all the amazing dishes. And this is incredible! In contrast to many restaurants cookbooks, that you can only read the recipes, with The French Laundry Cookbook you can actually cook many of the recipes from this book.
The French Laundry Cookbook is one of our favorite books and definitely one of the oldest in our collection. The most incredible aspect of is how simple Keller’s methods are, making this book accessible for home cooks. Basically, you will cook Michelin Star dishes in your own kitchen!
