Cuisinart WAF-V100 Waffle Maker

Waffles or pancakes? This is an old discussion inside our team, some prefer the rich and soft pancake and others the thick and crispy waffle. During one of our discussion, we decided that is time start bringing you the best kitchen gadgets to master these two recipes. So for this weekwe decide to bring you the Cuisinart Vertical Waffle Maker review.

The Cuisinart Vertical Waffle Maker takes up less room on the counter while making foolproof Belgian Waffles. You just need to add your favorite batter through, wait for light indicator and audible alert, and then you will have a perfect top to bottom and side to side baked waffle for all your family and friends.

A Unique and Easy To use Design

One of the biggest features of the Cuisinart Vertical Waffle Maker is its vertical design. With a batter pour spout using this waffle maker couldn’t be more simple. It comes with a measuring scoop to make your filling quick and tidy without any spills, overfilling or under-filling. This unique design is not only easy to use but also aesthetically appealing at the same time it takes up less space on your counter.

The design in this waffle maker is incredible, but just as with any kitchen equipment the most important is its performance. In terms of performance, the Cuisinart Vertical Waffle Maker makes a good Belgian-style waffle – big and round, with deep dimples and uniform consistency. Like most Belgian waffles, these discs easily break into quarters. The 5 temperature settings allow you to select your desired crispiness, where the lowest setting results in a light brown without runny spots, while the high setting leaves you with a dark, well-done waffle.

The only major downside that we found on this equipment, is the narrow spout path that can easily get clogged when chocolate chips or fruits like raspberry or blueberries are added to the batter. But, its many pros easily overshadow its cons.

Easier Than Most Waffle Makers

We already told you that is very easy to make perfectly cooked waffles with this equipment, but it is also very easy to clean. Cleaning the Cuisinart Vertical Waffle Maker is less messy and easy to clean when compared with other models on the market. The only downside of cleaning this equipment is the fact that the waffles plates aren’t removable. This was not a big deal, but would undoubtedly add value to this equipment.

If you had the opportunity to read some of our equipment reviews you probably already know that for us a good kitchen gadget must be easy to use on an everyday basis. Although the Cuisinart Vertical Waffle Maker as an initial learning curve this is an equipment that will make you want to make waffles every week.
