KitchenAid FGA Food Grinder Attachment

An attachment like this one is great to expand the possibilities of your KitchenAid. Although we only have still reviewed the KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker we have already had the opportunity to test different attachments.  For us, the KitchenAid Meat Grinder is by far our favorite attachment because of its grinding consistency and versatility. With two grinding plates, the limit is your imagination.

The coarse grinding plate is great for grinding raw meats for burgers or meatloaf and combining ingredients for homemade salsa, while the fine grinding plate quickly grates hard cheeses and helps you make bread crumbs. To achieve the best possible results, you should use the number 4 speed and your ingredient should be very cold. At the cooking world headquarters, we normally put the food we want to grind in the freezer for a few minutes before we grind it. If you follow these simple steps, you will end with great results.

Everyday Use

One of the reasons we really like this attachment is because how easy it’s to use and clean. Normally, food processors and meat grinders are very painful and tedious to clean. However, the KitchenAid model is surprisingly easy to clean. You just need to disassemble it and clean each piece individually. Sometimes, meat can become trapped in the blade, which makes the cleaning process more difficult. But after you remove the trapped meat you can continue with the cleaning process.

A great way to prevent meat from getting stuck in the blade is to grind it as cold as possible. Is better to spend a few minutes waiting for the meat to cold, that spending more time, in the end, cleaning.

The End Of KitchenAid meat grinder review

In the end, the KitchenAid Meat Grinder is another incredible attachment for your KitchenAid. Although you can find better meat grinders in the market, the simplicity of this one is something difficult to beat. With the KitchenAid Meat Grinder, you don’t have to spend your money on other equipment. You simply need to buy a smaller attachment to use in your KitchenAid.

So, if you have a KitchenAid mixer and you’re are looking for an easy and smart way to expand your kitchen equipment, the KitchenAid Meat Grinde is something that you should check it out.

Summary

The Kitchenaid Meat Grinder is an attachment that will improve the way you can use your stand mixer. Using this attachment is a way to push even forward the way you use your KitchenAid.
