We love a good cast iron skillet but there are times where a nonstick pan is our best friend. Today we decided to share with you our Misen Nonstick Pan Review to let you know everything about the best nonstick pan we've tried.
People like nonstick for its convenience and performance. Effortless cooking and easy cleanup make these pans a favorite among pros and home cooks alike. Unfortunately, in contrast with cast iron skillets or stainless steel pans, nonstick pans don't last forever. No matter how much you spend, you probably wouldn't pass one down to your great-grandchildren.
Nowadays the market of nonstick pans offers a lot of different options, with prices ranging from 25€ ($30) for the cheapest models to 170€ ($200) or more for the most luxurious ones. With such a different price range it can be frustrating to choose the right nonstick pan for the right price.
Luckily, after years and dozens of nonstick pans, we finally found a nonstick pan that delivers professional performance at a fair price.
Misen has gained notable traction in the cooking world given the company’s unique manufacturing process and top-quality construction. Their nonstick pan has a 3-layer PFOA-free non-stick coating made from DuPont Platinum coating, known for superior release and durability. But where it really stands out is the Plasma Primer. This is infused with Titanium, which according to Misen it's 2.5x more effective than traditional primers at keeping your nonstick surface working properly.
Although we still can't speak about the longevity of the pan we tested, we can say that after all the tests we have done with it, it's as good as new. Slices of bacon and eggs float around on this pan like they are on ice skates. Over the years we have used many nonstick pans, but none with the same nonstick capability as the Misen pan.
Beyond the coating, another aspect of the Misen Nonstick Pan worth mentioning is its ergonomics. The handle feels great on the hand, thanks to its removable stay-cool silicone grip with a textured underside for incredible comfort and control.
The first thing we tried when we received the 25 cm (10-inch) Misen's Nonstick Pan was to blow a fried egg around the pan as Misen's founder, Omar Rada, did in the previous video. To our surprise you can actually blow an egg around the pan effortlessly; the air glides right under the egg with zero sticking whatsoever. As we previously said, the Misen nonstick pan truly is non-stick. I’ve been cooking with it every day since we received it, and food has never stuck to the surface, not even a tiny bit.
Although we only tested the 25 cm (10-inch) pan, there are also two other sizes available, 20 cm (8-inch) and 30 cm (12-inch). All the different sizes have the same non-stick properties and are both induction compatible and oven safe. Having all these options is a great plus since it allows you to choose the right size for you and your kitchen.
Although Misen only has a three-year track record, it's becoming known for offering great value for its cookware. Their nonstick pan is just another example, offering the same professional performance of most expensive models on the market, but at a fraction of the price. For all, we have cooked with this pan, and for our experience with other Misen products, we really believe that this is a nonstick pan made to last.
Misen nonstick pan is an essential pan for every home, featuring a long-lasting nonstick surface and spacious cooking area. Perfect for delicate foods that easily stick, this pan can do it all.
